Please read this book carefully, taking appropriate notes, and be prepared to analyze its setting, plot, characters, and themes when we meet in the fall.      Literature 223 Required summer reading for 7th Grade Honors Literature is The Upstairs Room by Johanna Reiss. Please read this book carefully and be prepared to analyze its setting, plot, characters, and themes when we meet in the fall. If the walk distance is too great as determined by the transportation office, special accommodations will be made for these students.  Nashua Catholic administration should expect your shuttle buses to arrive between 7:50 and 7:55 in the morning.  In the afternoon, the buses will depart Nashua Catholic at 2:33 in order to make the 2:43 middle school dismissal.  I thank you for your cooperation with this matter. Helen J. Horan Scholarship Application

Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School

      This scholarship has been made possible as a result of a bequest to Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School by Father Denis Horan in loving memory of his sister Helen. Father “Deny” was Nashua Catholic’s Chaplain from 1997 to 2006 and a staunch supporter of Catholic education. This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving graduating eighth grade student who has successfully completed two years at Nashua Catholic and is continuing on to a Catholic high school. The scholarship will be awarded in four annual installments during the student’s Catholic high school years. The total amount of the four year award will be determined at the time of graduation from NC
