Your Response is Requested
January 25, 2010
Dear Parents,
The week of January 31st to February 6th, 2010 is
Catholic Schools Week. This is an opportunity to both
celebrate and promote the benefits of a Catholic school
education.
You may have noticed that NCRJHS has been doing some
advertising lately. Our enrollment has recently been
stable at about 240 students, but our goal for next year
is to maximize enrollment to the limit of 300 students.
The single greatest way to combat tuition costs is to
increase enrollment. In order to do this, we need your
help. Parent referrals are the number one source for
bringing new families into our community! I invite all
of you to reflect on your reasons for choosing NCRJHS,
and tell at least two other families with sixth or
seventh grade children about your experience here.
As part of the effort to improve our advertising and
promotions, I ask that you take a few minutes to
complete an on-line survey. This survey is one way that
we can gather information to help effectively target our
limited advertising budget. Moreover, by gauging your
satisfaction with our programs and services your answers
will help us to better serve you, our customers. The
survey asks both demographic and opinion questions, and
all answers from the survey are kept anonymous. You can
access the survey by typing or copying and pasting the
following URL into your web browser:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/M65BTFD. Please
note that this survey is not limited to one per
household; it is for each parent in the household. So,
yes, Mom and Dad can each fill out their own survey.
Please try to complete the survey by next Sunday,
January 31st.
Thank you for your participation in this survey, and
especially for your continued efforts to spread the word
about Nashua Catholic in your communities.

Helen J. Horan Scholarship Application
Nashua Catholic Regional
Junior High School
This scholarship has been made possible as a result of
a bequest to Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School by
Father Denis Horan in loving memory of his sister Helen.
Father “Deny” was Nashua Catholic’s Chaplain from 1997 to
2006 and a staunch supporter of Catholic education. This
scholarship will be awarded to a deserving graduating eighth
grade student who has successfully completed two years at
Nashua Catholic and is continuing on to a Catholic high
school. The scholarship will be awarded in four annual
installments during the student’s Catholic high school
years. The total amount of the four year award will be
determined at the time of graduation from NC
Mission Statement
Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School strives to nurture the whole
student; mind, body, and soul. We foster an environment in which students,
teachers, and parents can critically examine today's morals and values in light
of the Gospel. We assist parents in fulfilling their call as the primary
teachers of their children.
